We review and discuss various activies and disciplines dogs are involved in and the effects these activites
have on the canine body and structure. We also discuss various training methods used in schools and at
homes and how these can affect your massage sessions.
The anatomy and correct function of the hindlimb is introduced and important structures and landmarks
are palpated and identified on live animals. Muscular issues and their resultant functional implications are
also discussed and relevant massage and stretching techniques are presented.
